Your plant, whether hired in or owned by you, constitutes an important part of your stock when you're working on a contract. It's therefore important that it's covered in case an accident occurs and it sustains damage as a result. You'll be offered up to £500,000 cover for permanent or temporary works carried out under any one contract and the materials involved in the work as well as up to £500 for any item of property owned by you. With hired in plant the maximum sum insured is £50,000, with the same amount also available for cost of continuous hire. Our flexible quote system means that you can purchase the kind of plant hire you require so an important part of your stock is secure.

Your personal tools are an important part of your stock and vital to the smooth running of your business. You'll therefore want to make sure they're insured as part of your contractor's insurance policy. We'll offer you competitively priced cover for your tools while on the contract site or in transit to or from the site, with an upper limit of £500 on any one item or property. Please ensure you check the policy wording as different insurers stock cover may vary.
